I admire war correspondents. For anyone in battle. At the moment, this includes our soldiers, hence my Guardian article about the killing efficiency of roadside bombs which we've spent billions to neutralize but which keep on shredding men and women in combat. Put yourself in the boots of a young man or woman on patrol never knowing when or if your next step will blow your balls or head off. Bring the war home.

- And the wild kickass all-female Pussy Riot who get sent to prison for their satiric, feminist rock n roll.
